Fall CSA Begins This Week – Bread?

Posted on

For all y’all who’ve expressed interest in fresh local food, Community Supported Agriculture as a concept, and certainly to all our new share members – thank you!

Our fall CSA program gets underway this week with deliveries starting on Wednesday.

We have filled all the shares available for this fall season but keep in mind that we’ll be increasing the number of shares available in spring of ’13 and we’re takin’ names!  🙂  Also, if you’re interested in other CSA’s nearby, or looking for a specific organic product (milk, cheese, meats, etc.) feel free to give us a call to chat – we don’t know everyone out there but we’re happy to offer suggestions if we can!

On another note – we’ve begun working with an organic bakery and are considering offering fresh-baked sliced loaves (white/wheat/rye) as an add-on to our CSA shares…  Would be baked fresh the night before pick-up, with of course no preservatives, so you’d have to enjoy it within a few days (unless of course you are going for bread pudding, or croutons, or…).  So, if super-fresh organic bread is something you’d be interested in – let us know!
