Spring ’14 – April is coming!

Posted on

Certainly hope that everyone is well and beginning to feel a little of that fresh, invigorating feeling that each spring seems to offer!

It’s been quite an off-season for us around the farmstead – some downtime to reflect on days past, some significant life events, and a whole bunch of planning and work to get ready for this year…  But yes, it’s that time again.  When the first crops are beginning to ready, seedlings are springing to life, and the warmth and promise of longer days remind us that it’s time to get to it!

The weather this year seems to be much more cooperative than last spring (excusing that recent little ice storm and freeze – grrr…) and the plants are progressing nicely.  We’re looking at deliveries beginning likely the third/fourth week of April so as not to rush anything.  One thing different this year – we’re going to separate the ‘seasons’ into 8-week segments rather than condense Spring/Summer into one long season as we’ve done previously.  (Hopefully that makes it both more flexible and a little easier on the budget for all)

We’re also going to change some delivery days/times for the next season(s) – so please give us a call if you have any questions about that.  Lots more info to come so stay tuned!

For all of you who’ve already confirmed your Spring membership – thanks!  If you haven’t yet – please drop us a note or give us a call to let us know either way…
