Season to season… Thank you!

IMG_0544  Good afternoon all!

Hard to believe that we’ve come to the end of our Spring/Summer season…

First and foremost – a tremendous THANK YOU, to each and every one, for your membership and support of what we’re trying to do out here.  There’s no way in the world we could continue growing without you and all of us here at the farm sincerely appreciate the fact y’all care about supporting organic, small-scale, local, farms.

While we may have a few weeks away from deliveries there’s certainly a lot going on.  At this point we’re waist deep in autumn activities; Prepping seedbeds, resetting fields, building new irrigation circuits, starting thousands of seedlings, planting, etc, etc.  Pretty sure Mark is dead set on finding a couple of days to go play in the woods but other than that, it’s farming as usual as we get ready for the fall delivery season.

The Autumn season –

We’re going set the ‘official’ season at 8 weeks:

The current field plan has us harvesting again the second half of September but that’s dependent upon weather between now and then so we’ll announce the actual delivery start date(s) as we get closer.  For comparison, last autumn we began delivering the last week of Sep/first week of Oct and basically kept on going for 10 weeks.  If the yield is good and the fields keep producing we may extend the season but we’ll just handle that on a weekly basis as we get into winter.

Thank you, Thank you!

Can’t say it enough.  It’s been a wild year so far but none of it would have happened without all of you.  In community supported ag you guys are everything.

Please give us a call or send us a note if you have any questions.  Hope to see y’all again very, very soon!
